Ponder Life's Big Questions

In October 2012 and 2013 the RRR Women’s Network celebrated International Day of Rural Women across Western Australia with a series of RRR Satellite Sundowner events held in local communities.

Community groups, individuals and organisations hosted and attended their local RRR Satellite Sundowner.

Established in 1995 and recognised by the United Nations, the International Day of Rural Women honours the importance of rural, remote and regional women.

The theme of this year’s Satellite Sundowner is Life's Big Questions.  Women from all over Western Australia are invited to share their stories, images and experiences of rural, remote and regional life.

On Thursday, 16 October 2014, RRR Satellite Sundowner events will be held around the state in local communities.

Some local events may be held during the week Monday 13 October to Friday 17 October.
